New study aims to ease pain after mastectomy without strong drugs

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (costotransverse foramen block and erector spinae plane block) to see which one better controls pain after modified radical mastectomy. About 110 women having this breast cancer surgery will receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce the need for morphine and improve comfort after surgery.
