First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compares two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (ESPB and ITPB) to manage pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. About 110 adults undergoing elective surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to see which block provides better pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers.
