Summary
This study tested whether using one or two levels of a nerve block (erector spinae plane block) provides better pain control after laparoscopic weight-loss surgery. Sixty obese adults were randomly assigned to receive either a one-level or two-level block along with general anesthesia. The main goal was to measure pain scores during the first 24 hours after surgery.
