Braces showdown: which type straightens teeth faster?
NCT ID NCT07503314
Summary
This study compared two common types of orthodontic braces to see which works better for straightening crowded teeth. Researchers randomly assigned 70 teenagers and young adults to receive either self-ligating or conventional braces after tooth extractions. They measured how quickly teeth aligned, how the width of the dental arch changed, and how well spaces closed over nine months.
