New study aims to take the pain out of forearm surgery tourniquets

Summary
This study tests three different methods to prevent pain from a tourniquet (a tight band that stops blood flow) during forearm surgery. 60 adults will receive either a specific nerve block, a different nerve block, or pain medicine through an IV. The goal is to see which method works best to keep patients comfortable during the procedure.
