First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study checks if sticky surface electrodes can measure muscle signals as well as standard needle electrodes. Thirty healthy adults will have their leg muscle activity recorded with both methods during a one-hour session. If successful, it could make muscle testing less invasive and more accessible.
