Scientists probe nose vs. arm: which flu vaccine builds better defenses?

NCT ID NCT05921448

Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's immune system responds differently to two types of flu vaccines: a nasal spray and a traditional shot. Researchers will compare immune responses in the nose, lungs, and blood of 60 healthy adults to identify markers that could help design better future vaccines. The goal is to gather detailed knowledge about vaccine effectiveness, not to test a new treatment for immediate use.
