First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods using mesh to treat vaginal vault prolapse in women who have had prior prolapse surgery. About 318 participants will receive either transvaginal mesh or laparoscopic mesh fixation. The main goal is to see which approach better relieves the feeling of a vaginal bulge one year after surgery, while also tracking complications, pain, and costs.
