New leg artery treatment goes Head-to-Head with standard

NCT ID NCT07359807

Summary

This study compares two different drug-coated balloons used to open blocked arteries in the thigh and knee. Researchers want to see if a newer balloon coated with sirolimus works as well as the standard paclitaxel-coated balloon at keeping arteries open longer. The trial will involve 478 adults with significant leg artery blockages who need treatment to improve blood flow.
