First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compared two ways to place a breathing tube during surgery: the traditional direct laryngoscope and a newer videolaryngoscope. Over 1,000 adults having surgery took part, and anesthesia residents performed the intubations. The goal was to see which method leads to more successful first attempts and fewer complications.
