First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study compared two video-guided devices (CMAC D-Blade and video stylet) for placing breathing tubes in 150 obese patients undergoing weight-loss surgery. All patients had a higher risk of difficult intubation. The goal was to see which device works better on the first try and how long it takes. Results help doctors choose the safest tool for this group.
