New slim scope aims to cut costs for kidney stone patients

Summary

This study will compare a new, thinner flexible ureteroscope (HugeMed HU30M) to standard scopes for removing kidney stones up to 2.5 cm. Researchers want to see if the new scope is just as good at clearing stones but costs less. About 75 adults will take part at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
