First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compares two common progesterone treatments (oral dydrogesterone vs. vaginal micronized progesterone) when used with estrogen gel for menopause symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. About 200 women aged 45-60 with an intact uterus will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments and followed for 12 months. The goal is to see which option better protects the uterus lining, improves symptoms, and enhances quality of life.
