First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compared two minimally invasive prostate treatments—holmium laser enucleation (HoLEP) and water vapor therapy (Rezum)—in 110 men with enlarged prostate (BPH). The goal was to see which approach better preserves sexual function and ejaculation while still relieving urinary symptoms. Participants were sexually active men aged 50+ who had failed medication. Results will help men choose a treatment that balances symptom relief with sexual health.
