Doctors test which heart monitor works better for kids in surgery
NCT ID NCT07342842
Summary
This study compared two ultrasound devices used to measure how well a child's heart is pumping during surgery. Researchers tested 57 healthy children under anesthesia to see if the two devices gave similar readings. The goal was to see if a simpler, handheld monitor could be as reliable as a more complex echocardiogram machine.
