Computer-Guided jaw surgery may sharpen dental implant prep

Summary

This study compares two ways to widen a narrow lower jawbone so dental implants can be placed. One method uses a computer-designed guide, the other is done free-hand. About 18 adults with a thin jawbone will take part. The goal is to see which approach gives more accurate bone widening.
