First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to relieve jaundice in patients with incurable bile duct or pancreatic cancer. The goal is to see which drainage method—connecting the gallbladder or the bile duct to the digestive tract—is safer and works better. About 128 palliative patients will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches.
