Flu shot showdown: which vaccine works best?
NCT ID NCT05479370
Summary
This study compared three different types of flu vaccines to see which one creates the strongest and most protective immune response. 366 healthy adults received either an egg-based, cell-based, or newer recombinant vaccine. Researchers measured antibody levels and tracked actual flu infections over a year to see if the newer recombinant vaccine offers better protection.
