First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compared two common surgeries for moderate nearsightedness: FemtoLasik (a laser procedure) and implantable collamer lens (ICL, a lens placed inside the eye). 60 adults aged 21-40 with stable nearsightedness took part. The goal was to see which surgery gives better vision stability, contrast sensitivity, and fewer visual distortions.
