Simple change in embryo thawing could boost IVF success rates

NCT ID NCT07088640

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two methods of thawing frozen embryos for IVF: a standard multi-step process and a simpler single-step method. The goal is to see which approach leads to more live births. About 816 women undergoing frozen embryo transfer will take part. The simpler method may reduce stress on the embryo and save time for patients and lab staff.
