First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of dental stitch (suture) is most comfortable for patients after minor oral surgery. Sixty healthy adults aged 20-30 will receive four different suture materials in separate areas of their upper jaw. They will report pain, discomfort, and any trouble with eating or speaking on days 3, 7, and 14. Dentists will also review photos of healing. The goal is to help dentists choose the best material to improve patient comfort.
