First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at two types of dental materials for children aged 8 to 13 with a condition called Molar-Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH), which causes weak, sensitive enamel. Each child received two different tooth restorations—one on each side of the mouth—to compare how well they worked over six months. The goal was to find which material reduces tooth sensitivity and performs better in everyday use.
