New bone drug copycat put to the test in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT05245669
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early-stage trial compared a new biosimilar version of the bone drug denosumab (called ENZ215) with the already-approved brand-name drug Prolia. 207 healthy adult men received a single shot of either the new drug or Prolia. The goal was simply to see if the new version behaves the same way in the body—not to treat any disease.
