Camera vs. camera: which tool causes less nosebleeds during surgery?
NCT ID NCT07353255
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common medical tools causes less nosebleeds when placing a breathing tube through the nose for surgery. It will compare a flexible camera (fibrescope) that guides the tube through the nose, to a rigid camera (video laryngoscope) that guides it from the mouth. The study will involve 200 adults having elective surgery to see which method is gentler and safer.
