Colombian medical device aims to match global standard for safer surgery
NCT ID NCT07239141
Summary
This study compares two video devices that help doctors place breathing tubes during surgery. Researchers want to see if a Colombian-made device called Laringocel® works as well as the widely used C-MAC D-Blade® for getting the tube in correctly on the first try. The study involves 252 adults having elective surgery in Colombia, with trained anesthesiologists using one of the two randomly assigned devices.
