First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 100 premature babies with respiratory distress syndrome who did not improve with standard nasal CPAP. Researchers compared a newer non-invasive high-frequency ventilation method to conventional mechanical ventilation. They measured oxygen levels, complications like lung damage and infections, and survival rates to see which approach works better.
