NCT ID NCT07345663
First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 360 patients who had surgery to remove gallstones from the bile duct. Doctors compared two methods of closing the bile duct after surgery: the usual interrupted stitches and a faster continuous stitch. The goal was to see if the faster method saved time without increasing risks like bile leaks. Results will help surgeons choose the best technique.
