Summary

This study tested two types of hospital beds—a fluid immersion simulation system and an air fluidized bed—to see which one helps pressure ulcers heal better after surgery. 80 adults with stage III or IV pressure ulcers took part. The main goal was to check wound closure after 2 weeks and track any complications.
