First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether a new automatic ultrasound tool can measure heart blood flow as accurately as the standard manual method in 70 ICU patients with acute circulatory failure (dangerously low blood pressure). The goal was to see if the automated method could save time and reduce human error. Results will help decide if the automatic tool can be trusted for routine use in critical care.
