Which asthma spacer works better for gasping toddlers?
NCT ID NCT03900494
Summary
This study aimed to find out if one type of asthma spacer device works better than another for delivering emergency breathing medicine to young children (6 months to 4 years old) having a wheezing attack. Researchers compared two common spacer brands in 80 children treated in Finnish emergency rooms. They measured which device helped children breathe easier faster, reduced hospital stays, and was easier for kids and parents to use.
