Summary
This study looked at 166 pregnant women at high risk for preterm labor who had abnormal vaginal bacteria. They were given either clindamycin or metronidazole pills to see which one cleared the infection better and had fewer side effects. The goal was to find the best treatment to help reduce the chance of early delivery.
