Dental study seeks better numbing for implant surgery

Summary
This study compares two ways to numb the mouth for surgery on gum disease around dental implants in the lower back jaw. One method numbs a large nerve, and the other numbs just the area around the implant. The goal is to see which method works better and causes fewer side effects. Thirty adults will take part, and they will be randomly assigned to one of the two numbing methods.
