First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at how two different anesthesia methods—spinal anesthesia and a lumbar/sciatic nerve block—affect the heart's electrical activity and inflammation levels in people having arthroscopic knee surgery. 80 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see which method may be safer for the heart.
