First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at 53 women who had severe perineal tears during childbirth. Researchers compared a standard, expensive machine (HDARM) with a new portable device (THD® Anopress) to see if the portable one gives equally accurate pressure readings. The goal is to make follow-up testing easier and more affordable for these women.
