First seen May 29, 2026 ยท Last updated May 29, 2026

Summary

This study compared an automatic device (MESI MD ABPI) with a manual device (Huntleigh Dopplex) for measuring blood pressure in the ankles of people with leg ulcers. The goal was to see if the automatic device gives similar results and can help nurses decide on the right treatment more quickly and comfortably. 46 adults with leg ulcers in Berkshire took part, and each had both measurements during a routine visit.
