Villages test new strategy to tame silent killer
NCT ID NCT07426978
Summary
This study is testing a community-based education and support program designed to help adults in Bangladesh better manage their high blood pressure. The program, delivered by local health workers, teaches about diet, exercise, and medication, and provides tools like blood pressure checks and reminders. Researchers will compare blood pressure levels in villages that receive the program to those that receive usual care to see if the approach leads to better control.
