First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether training doctors in communication skills can help lymphoma patients move from active treatment to survivorship. It involves 314 patients with Hodgkin's or Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma. The goal is to see if better conversations with their doctors improve patient outcomes during this challenging transition.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
communication skills training
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that better doctor-patient communication improves the emotional and practical well-being of lymphoma survivors.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage behavioral study, not a drug trial. Results may not show a clear benefit, and the training may not be widely adopted.
