New Two-Pronged attack on advanced cancer tumors shows promise

NCT ID NCT07437625

Summary

This study is testing a new strategy to control the growth of metastatic tumors in patients with advanced cancer. It compares two approaches: a combined method that uses different treatments (freezing and radiation seeds) on different parts of the tumors versus using just one type of treatment on all tumors. The goal is to see if the combined strategy is better at keeping the treated tumors from growing back while being safe for patients.
