Two heart procedures in one: new study aims to fix rhythm and block stroke risk simultaneously

Summary
This study is observing patients who receive two heart procedures in a single session. First, doctors use a special catheter to correct an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation). Immediately after, they place a small device to seal off a part of the heart to help prevent strokes. The goal is to see if doing both procedures together is as safe and effective as doing them separately.
