Light and pill combo targets skin cancer without surgery
NCT ID NCT06623201
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a combination treatment for people with multiple basal cell skin cancers (BCCs). It combines a blue-light therapy applied to the skin with an oral drug called sonidegib. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for patients who are not good candidates for surgery or who refuse it, potentially offering a less-scarring treatment option.
