First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of three drugs (decitabine, venetoclax, and ponatinib) in 20 adults with Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute myeloid leukemia or chronic myelogenous leukemia that had worsened. The goal was to see how many patients achieved remission after two treatment cycles. This approach aims to control the disease, not cure it, as ongoing treatment may be needed.
