New hope for ovarian cancer patients: experimental antibody aims to keep cancer at bay

Summary

This trial is testing whether an experimental antibody called COM701 can help control ovarian cancer that has returned after previous treatment. The study will involve 60 participants with relapsed platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer who will receive either COM701 or a placebo through intravenous infusion every three weeks. Researchers want to see if COM701 can delay cancer progression and extend the time before patients need new treatments, while carefully monitoring for side effects.
