Virus joins fight against stubborn colon cancer
NCT ID NCT07446322
Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental virus therapy called pelareorep to standard chemotherapy drugs (FOLFIRI + bevacizumab) works better for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread and stopped responding to their first treatment. About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard drugs alone or the standard drugs plus the virus therapy. The main goal is to see if the virus helps shrink tumors more effectively.
