Scientists test 'Rechallenge' strategy to fight back when colorectal cancer returns

NCT ID NCT07178717

Summary

This study is testing whether restarting a specific two-drug combination can help control advanced colorectal cancer in patients who have a particular genetic mutation (BRAF V600E). The 25 participants have already been treated with similar drugs that initially worked for at least 6 months but eventually stopped controlling their cancer. Researchers want to see if giving the drugs again after a break can slow cancer growth for at least 4 more months.
