New hope for advanced colon cancer patients in drug combo trial

Summary
This study tested new combinations of drugs, including an experimental one called etrumadenant, for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. It involved 227 participants and aimed to see if these combinations could control the cancer better than standard treatments while being safe. The trial compared different drug groups, including some without traditional chemotherapy, to measure how long the cancer stayed under control and how patients responded.
