Wake up quicker after your colonoscopy? study tests new sedation timing
NCT ID NCT07168135
Summary
This study is testing if stopping the sedative drug propofol earlier during a colonoscopy helps patients recover their thinking and movement skills faster after the procedure. Researchers are comparing two groups of 100 adults: one where the drug is stopped partway through, and one where it continues. The goal is to see if this change speeds up recovery without making the procedure more uncomfortable.
