Could a simple water switch make your colonoscopy less painful?
NCT ID NCT07245173
Summary
This study aims to see if using water instead of air during a colonoscopy causes fewer painful loops to form inside the colon. Researchers will randomly assign 142 patients getting routine colon cancer screenings to either the water or air method. They will measure which technique leads to fewer loops, less patient discomfort, and a faster, easier procedure.
