NCT ID NCT07501975

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a new rinse solution used during colonoscopy. The rinse combines menthol (from peppermint oil) to relax the colon and simethicone to clear foam, aiming to give doctors a better view and find more polyps. About 498 adults getting a colonoscopy will take part. The goal is to see if this rinse is safe and helps detect adenomas (precancerous growths) better than standard care.
