Summary
This international study aimed to find the best amount of bowel and surrounding lymph nodes to remove during colon cancer surgery. Researchers observed over 3,600 patients who had surgery to see how far the cancer had spread. The goal was to gather evidence to help surgeons decide how much tissue to remove to best treat the cancer.
