New lymph node map could better predict colon cancer survival
NCT ID NCT07380464
Summary
This study looked at 1,500 colon cancer patients to see if a new way of classifying lymph node spread could better predict patient survival. Researchers analyzed where cancer spread in the lymph nodes and compared it to current staging systems. The goal was to create a more accurate tool to help doctors understand patient prognosis after surgery.
